Air conditioning in domestic properties has become more and more popular in recent years. This is partly due to equipment becoming more affordable along with extremely low running costs.

Building regulations have also recently changed to increase the insulation value in domestic properties. This will help keep the property warm in the winter but in turn, traps the heat in the summer.

Because of the changes in regulations, we have noticed a huge jump in the number of new build properties we have been installing systems in.

With the need for air conditioning but not wanting to see a unit hanging on the wall, this client contacted us to see if we could come up with a solution.

There was no loft space or ceiling void to install a ducted system so we suggested concealing the system in the book cases either side of the fire place.

We designed grilles to go in the top to direct the air out at an angle and the covers had magnetic catches to give us access for future servicing.

Daikin Two Way Multi System

This customer had a requirement for air conditioning in both their master bedroom and living room. To reduced the amount of equipment outside, we suggested the two way multi (one condensing unit serving two indoor units).

With the Blackwood finish on the living room system, the customer decided to go with the daikin stylish option; modern looks with exceptional performance.

We were originally contacted by this client to come up with a solution for warping train tracks in his model railway room on hot days. During discussions, it became apparent that other areas in the house would also benefit from air conditioning.

To reduce the amount of outdoor units, the client decided to go for the option of a three way multi system for the main house with etherea units inside to make use of the nanoex technology.
